Research Interest: My research interest lies in environmental studies, climate change, natural hazards and public policy. I currently focus on exploring the effects of climate change and assessing the efficiency of environmental policies and governance.
I employ causal inference methods such as the difference-in-difference (DID) model, regression discontinuity design (RDD), and linear regression to study the social impacts of policies and natural disasters. Additionally, I am particularly interested in applying machine learning techniques to assess climate change risk, as well as the vulnerability in the context of natural hazards and extreme weather events. I have received specialized training in satellite data processing and am currently learning applications of ArcGIS. I am proficient in using Matlab, Python, R, and Stata for data analysis and modeling.Research Works¶
